COVID-19 was officially declared a pandemic on 12th March 2020. The impact of the coronavirus pandemic has been devastating with millions of deaths worldwide and unprecedented changes to the way we live our lives and the way we practise medicine.
The first CovidACIM webinar took place on Saturday 18th April and Sunday 19th April, and it was an astounding success with doctors from around the world taking part in this extraordinary event. Experts in Cardiology, Acute Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine from around the world shared their experiences and provided insights into managing patients with COVID-19. The webinar was powered by Zoom and streamed live on FaceBook and partly on Aljazeera television channel.
We will be posting videos of the various sessions on this blog 'Covid ACIM Webinar series' and the videos will be available to view on YouTube.
